Honoured with a Knighthood

The Honour was bestowed on behalf of Prince Leonard for outstanding contributions to international diplomatic relations through his work for the World Federation of Consuls ( FICAC). and his work in diplomacy, social development and promotion of sport, trade and commerce for his home country of Jamaica by the Principality Consul General to Brazil:
Dr. Sir Lamartine Hollanda Junior, KCRO, KStT, KStG, GCOGAL, GCOMC, GCOCC, GCEFD, CAF, DAM. FICAC Director, Chairman of FICAC to Latin America.

 The bestowal took place at the Hotel President, Prague, during the First East European Regional Conference of FICAC (World Federation of Consuls), from 4^th to 6^th of April.

There were many in attendance, many participants in the Conference (mainly, of course, Consuls), from East Europe and other regions including Thailand, Bangladesh, Brazil, Turkey, Cyprus, etc, among them Consul General Amarkai Amarteifio (for Sweden in Ghana), Vice President of FICAC and previous Minister of State in Ghana.

Also attending were Consuls Costakis Lefkaritis (for Zambia to Cyprus), Virachai Techavit (for Estonia, in Thailand), Aykut Eken (for Jamaica in Turkey), Antonio Munhoz (for Nicaragua in São Paulo, Brazil), Petr Vodvarka (for Australia in Czech Republic (he is the Dean of the Czech Consular Corps), Kartar Bhalla (for Republic of Nauru in India), among many, many others.
