Pictures here taken on the Day of Issue, 01/12/2007, show HRH Prince Leonard preparing the stamps for official release, postmarking the First Day Covers etc.

Photos also show the first and second groups of visitors to purchase the stamps within minutes of the release.

Mr Robert Gross from Perth Western Australia was the first to purchase a First Day Cover of the
2007 Christmas Issue
 
Accompanied by his Father Michael Gross they both witnessed the release of this years Christmas issue and eagerly became the first to own one.
 
 


  
Second off the rank, though very close behind Robert and Michael, were these 3 young ladies.
